By manufacturing to the highest standards, we deliver uncompromising quality. What's more, we are the pioneers of a trend-setting drive concept: since 2015, we have been combining powerful Bosch motors with a virtually wear-free belt drive and a continuously variable transmission. This combination, which we first introduced with our XD series, is today regarded as the gold standard for maintenance-free operation across all manufacturers. Since 2022, we have been adding high-quality chain drives and gears to our range of belt-driven e-bikes.

Since 2015, HNF has been building premium e-bikes of the highest quality – including the ground-breaking XF1, which was developed in collaboration with BMWi, and the three-lane cargo e-bike CD1 / CD2 with patented tilting technology. In our research and development centre in Berlin, we design e-bikes of all categories. Our product portfolio ranges from urban and all-terrain e-bikes to cargo bikes with patented tilting technology. Production to the highest standards is followed by a thorough final inspection at our factory in the Halle-Leipzig technology region. Thus, we are able to meet the highest quality standards for each and every vehicle we produce. E-bikes from HNF-NICOLAI are now available at around 500 qualified retailers in Germany and Europe.
